WPS Payroll Software UAE with Automatic SIF File Generation
HRX360 is UAE HR and payroll software that automatically generates the WPS SIF file for salary transfers. It stores each employee’s MOL number, IBAN and bank routing code, calculates gross-to-net pay, applies absence deductions, and exports a MOHRE-compliant Salary Information File (SIF) you upload to your bank or exchange house — so you pay every employee on time, every month.
The UAE’s Wage Protection System (WPS) is mandatory for private-sector companies, and the rules just got stricter. Under MOHRE Resolution No. 340 of 2026, effective 1 June 2026, salaries must be paid on the first day of each month for the preceding month, and any payment after that date counts as a delay. HRX360 runs payroll, generates the SIF, and gets your salaries out on time so you reduce the risk of late payroll submissions, rejected files and WPS compliance issues.
What is the WPS SIF file?
The Wage Protection System (WPS) is an electronic salary-transfer system supervised by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) and the Central Bank of the UAE.
Employers pay wages through an approved agent (a bank or exchange house) by submitting a Salary Information File (SIF) — a structured file containing your establishment details and, for every employee, their MOL/personal number, IBAN, routing code, salary, and pay period.
Get the SIF wrong or submit it late and you face escalating penalties. HRX360 builds the file for you from data you already maintain, so there’s nothing to format by hand.
The new 2026 WPS rules — what changed
From 1 June 2026, MOHRE Ministerial Resolution No. 340 of 2026 changes how and when private-sector salaries must be paid:
First-of-month payday
Salaries for the previous month must be transferred via WPS on the first day of the new month; any payment after that date is treated as a delay.
85% on-time threshold
A company is treated as compliant when, no later than the due date, it transfers at least 85% of the total wages due to its workers.
Escalating enforcement
Electronic monitoring from the due date, warnings from day 2, permit suspensions, fines, reclassification, and labour disputes — escalating fast.
Late-payment enforcement timeline
Article 3 + Annex 1 — what happens when WPS is late
The takeaway for employers: you now need payroll that is fast, accurate, and ready to run on day one of the month. That is exactly what HRX360 is built for.
How HRX360 generates your WPS SIF file
HRX360 turns a full month of payroll into a compliant SIF in minutes.
Set the payroll period
(YYYYMM) for the month you’re paying.
Auto-fill establishment & bank details
HRX360 pre-fills your establishment/registration number and company bank routing code from your saved company settings.
Apply optional filters
By department, designation, sponsorship, or payment method — if you’re generating a partial run.
Preview the data
Check every employee’s net pay, IBAN, and MOL number before you commit.
Generate SIF File
Click Generate SIF File (or export to Excel) and upload it to your bank or exchange house.
Because each employee’s payment details (WPS / bank transfer / C3 card, IBAN, bank, and MOL number) live in their payroll profile, the file is correct the first time — no manual formatting, no rejected uploads.
